Childbirth Preparation Weekend Express Series
This condensed "Weekend Express" series consists of two classes from 6 – 8:30 pm on Friday and 9 am – 2 pm on Saturday.
This program prepares young children, generally ages two to eight years old, for the arrival of a new brother or sister. The class includes teaching positive sibling skills while watching a short video of other children, so viewers can relate kid-to-kid with age-appropriate stories. Participants will learn about newborn appearances and how to interact with babies using dolls. They will also receive a family activity book and a tour of the Family Birthing Center. Call the Family Birthing Center to schedule an individualized appointment at 608-373-8208.
SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - Janesville will protect, promote and support breastfeeding in alliance with the World Health Organization/UNICEF and Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative.
