Our facility is staffed by Madison Emergency Physicians (MEP) – a group of board-certified physicians and advanced practice providers who specialize in Emergency Medicine. 

The Madison Emergency Physicians group provides coverage to all of our SSM Health facilities in Wisconsin – SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - Madison, SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - Janesville, SSM Health St. Clare Hospital - Baraboo, SSM Health Emergency Center, Columbus Community Hospital, Upland Hills Health and Lake Delton Urgent Care. Our commitment to providing exceptional and compassionate care can be seen through our attainment of accreditation as a Chest Pain Center by the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care and designation as a Level III Trauma Center. In addition to the emergency physicians, we have surgeons and anesthesiologists available at all times of the day to handle your emergency medical needs.

Urgent Care

Urgent Care is a fast and convenient way to be treated for a variety of minor illnesses and injuries such as sprains and strains, cuts, sore throats, coughs, bladder infections, ear aches, rashes, bites, headaches, suture removal and more.
