Construction is well underway for the $150 million new community medical campus in Janesville. The project includes the 50-bed St. Mary's Janesville Hospital and an adjacent physician office complex and completion is anticipated in late 2011. The hospital will be part of SSM Health Care of Wisconsin, parent company of St. Mary's Hospital in Madison and St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo.

Dean will develop the new physician office complex. It will offer a broad array of services comparable to those already provided at Dean's Riverview Clinic.

Procedures currently performed at the Riverview Surgery Center, jointly owned by Dean and SSM Health Care of Wisconsin, will be performed at the new hospital. The medical campus will be located near Interstate 90 at Highway 11.

The new hospital and physician complex are expected to open with approximately 344 employees.
