The Prairie View Cafe is located in Town Square and is open to the public daily.  Hot meal service is available from 6:30 a.m. until 7 p.m. daily.

 The Garden Bistro is located in the Dean Clinic-Janesville East.  It offers coffee and pastries and is open 7 a.m. until noon Monday through Friday.

Dining on Call

We are pleased to offer “Dining on Call” Room Service Dining.  Our dining is flexible; you select food from a restaurant-style menu and choose the time you would like to eat.  Meals are freshly prepared and delivered within 45 minutes of your request.

Sometimes food selections are not permitted in the diet prescribed by your doctor. A room service representative will assist you in making another selection when you order your meal.

You, a loved one, or a staff member can place your food order from any internal phone by calling 38050. From an outside line, family and friends may call to order from home at 373-8050.

If your diet allows, juice and snacks are available on the unit for patients. Visitors should check with the nurse before bringing gifts of food or drink for the patient.

Guest Dining

Visitors are welcome to dine with patients in their rooms.  A meal can be purchased from the Prairie View Café or brought in from home.   

In addition, vending machines are located in the Prairie View Café, at the Garden Bistro, in the second floor family lounge, and in the Emergency Department.
